Certainly! To work for us, you must possess a valid SIA License, which must be displayed visibly while working on any of our jobs. Your license must also be visible to members of the public while you are working. We will verify your license when you first join us and conduct regular checks with the SIA to ensure its validity.

Whilst not mandatory, we do ask all our operatives to have a full driving license and a vehicle, as they always keep a lot of personal kit with them. Additionally, some locations are not easily accessible by public transport and a car is essential in these circumstances.

Before you start any work, please make sure to have the following items with you. These are industry standards and may be needed at short notice while you're on location.


1. All security staff should be in the correct uniform and have their essential kit with them. The standard security wear is 'all blacks', which is the industry standard for film and television security. It not only looks professional but also makes you easily identifiable as a frontline security professional. (T-shirts, polo’s, Cargo’s, Fleece, Waterproofs & outdoor work boots).


2. Film and television security work requires you to be ready for all weather conditions and different locations. So, ensure you have the proper clothing, especially footwear & Waterproofs. English Weather is unpredictable!


3. Using traffic cones to mark parking bays is essential. It's recommended to have at least 12 cones at all times, as they are almost always necessary. Company hi-viz vests will be provided, but it's a good idea to have one in your kit just in case it's not immediately available.


4. Torch, sounds obvious but when working on night shifts a torch will almost certainly be required. Whilst most area’s are well lit you may be in an area that is dimly lit and torch will be required. Additionally, some torches have green and red lights, which some operatives use to help with the flow of traffic on site.
